The Challenge.

Solai Coffee, a farmer-led specialty roaster, needed visuals that reflected the earthy, ethical, and handcrafted nature of their brand. While their mission was strong—returning more value to Kenyan farmers, their previous imagery lacked the warmth, texture, and clarity to support that message.

They sought a visual identity that felt:

  • Honest and natural
  • Aligned with their small-batch ethos
  • Consistent across web, packaging, and social content
Our Role.

As their creative partner, we led the full visual direction, from concept to execution. Our job was to help their story come through clearly and beautifully in every frame.

We handled:

  • Art direction and mood development
  • Product photography for packaged beans
  • Lifestyle imagery of brewed coffee, styled to feel human and inviting
Visual Approach

The concept was to let the brand breathe. Using natural light, raw surfaces like wood and linen, and warm, muted tones, We created a series of images that highlighted ritual, origin, and texture.

Rather than stagey setups, we focused on calm, grounded compositions. Coffee as part of a quiet moment, not a product pitch.
